“Mantra” is a Sanskrit word made up of two syllables: “man” (mind) and “tra” (liberate). The word “Mantra” means “to liberate one’s mind”. In Sanskrit, chakra translates into “wheel”. These “wheels” can be thought of as vortexes that both receive and radiate energy. There are Seven major energy centers (aka chakras) in your human body. This in turn dictates how pure the energy is that’s emitted from different regions of your body.

HUM : This mantra is also pronounced as (“hoom”), This HUM Mantra evokes the breakdown of negative feelings and spreads positivity and vitality through the body.
Bija means seed. “The Bija mantras are one-syllable seed sounds that, when this mantra is said aloud, activate the energy of the chakras in order to purify & balance the mind and body. When you Chant this bija mantras, you resonate with the energy of the associated chakra, helping you focus upon your own instinctive awareness of your body and its needs.
Chant bija mantras or Seed Mantras , either one at a time or in sequences. Repetition can help you access a meditative state.
You can chant each Seed Mantra while lying down or by sitting in a cross legged meditation pose. You can focus on a particular chakra and chant its specific seed mantra repetitively in one sitting or do all seven seed mantras in succession one after the other.
