Almond Seera Recipe
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Almonds blanched – 3 cups
Cardamom Powder – 2 tsp
Saffron strands – ½ tsp
Warm milk – 2 tsp
Ghee – 2 cups
Water – 6cups
Sugar – 2cups
Chopped almonds – 10
Almond Seera Preparation:
Make the power of blanched almonds, keeping aside of about 10 almonds for ganishing. Now dissolve the crushed Saffron in the warm milk. Take a non stick pan add little quantity of ghee, then add little quantity of flour to the ghee and stir until the mixture is fried for about 2-3 minutes. Then add some almond powder to the mixture and fry again till it becomes golden colour and gives a nice aroma by stirring the continuously. Now add little water and cook it for sometime.
Then add sugar to the mixture, then when the ghee lives the mixture comes up on to the mixture add cardamon powder and saffron and stir well. Almond Seera is ready to serve garnished with chopped almonds.
