Alur Dom Recipe
1 kg small Potatoes
1 tsp Mustards seeds
4 Bay leaves
100 gms Tamarind
1tsp Chilli Powder
10 green Chillies
2 tsp Ginger paste
2 tsp Garlic paste
2 tsp refined oil
Few curry leaves
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sugar
Alur dom Preparation:
Boil and peel the potatoes. In a cup of water soak tamarind for 15min and extract juice from it. Take a pan and heat oil, then add ginger, garlic, bay leaves, mustard and sugar, stir till it turn brown colour. Then add the boiled potatoes and fry them till brown. Now add green chilles, tamarind juice and curry leaves and stir well on low flame. Alur dom is ready to serve hot with puris.
