Badam Puri Recipe for Ganesh Festival
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in India as the Birthday of Lord Ganesha. Many special traditional dishes are prepared on ganesh chaturti festival day. Celebrate Ganesh Chaturti by preparing Badam Puri which is very easy to prepare.
Ingredients required to prepare Badam Puri
Badam Paste – 1 Cup
Maida – 5 Cups
Sugar – 7 Cups
Rice Flour – 2 ½ Cup
Milk – 200 ml
Cardamom – 2 Tea Spoon
Saffron – 2 Gms
Ghee – 50 Ml
Oil – 2 Cups
Water – 2 Cups
Steps to Prepare Badam Puri
Squeeze dough with Rice flour, Maida, Milk and Badam paste.
Heat water in a pan and add Sugar, Saffron and cardamom to Hot Water. Stir it to make sugar syrup.
Make small balls of the dough and roll each ball into a small round puri
Apply ghee on the puri and stack one on the top of other with three puries in each stack.
Roll and cut each stack into small pieces. Again, roll the pieces into a round shape and deep fry until golden brown.
Now put all the puris in the sugar syrup. Leave it for 10 minutes and take them out of it.
Badam Puri is ready to serve for your family members
