Bandhakopir Dalna Recipe
1 lb finely chopped Cabbage
2 Potatoes cut into cubes
2 tbsp Oil
1 inch Ginger grated
1 tbsp Butter
2 Bay leaves
1/2 tsp Garam masala
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
1tbsp Turmeric
2 tsp Green chili paste
1 tbsp Ground cumin
1 tsp Ground coriander
Bandhakopir Dalna Preparation:
In a Deep pan, heat oil and deep fry cubed potatoes lightly brown in colour and keep aside. Take out some oil and add cabbage in the same pan and sprinkle little salt and cover with lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
Then add turmeric powder, chili paste, coriander, cumin and ginger and stir until the spices are well with the cabbage and get half cooked Now add 1 cup of water and fried potatoes, a pinch of sugar and salt according to taste and cook on low flame until potatoes are cooked and see that there is no gravy in the pan.
In another frying pan, add butter, heat it and then add bay leaves and garam masala and stir for a minute then pour this over the cooked recipe known as bandhakopir dalna. Stir the cabbage and remove from heat.
