Boondi Recipe
500gms Besan
pinch of bicarbonate of soda
100 gms Powdered rice
2 cups Water
Oil for deep frying
6 cups Sugar
6 cups Water- 4
Boondi Preparation:
Add sugar and water of equal quantity of both in a pan, boil it on low flame and prepare sugar syrup of medium consistency and let it cool. Now mix besan in 2 cups of water with powdered rice and soda.
Take a pan for deep fry add oil and heat it, then pour the besan mixture into the hot oil through a slotted vessel and fry boode until crisp and remove from oil with a slotted spoon. Drain out the oil in a paper.
And then pour them in to the prepared sugar syrup. And continue the process with left over besan batter. Then remove boonde from the soaked syrup with a slotted spoon and spread out on a flat dish.
