Deepavali Festival
Deepavali or Diwali is one of the biggest festivals of Hindus celebrated in India; on deepavali festival day lakshmi puja is preformed in the evening to seek divine blessings of goddess of wealth. During deepavali festival day all Hindus wear new clothes decorate their house with tiny earthen lamps, and fire crackers. Deepavali is a perfect stage for socializing with friends and family. Deepavali is also called festival of lights.
On deepavali or diwali festival day all sweet shops are packed with people buying freshly made sweets and fire crackers. Deepavali (Deep = lamp, vali = Array) means array of lamps.Deepavali is celebrated to celebrate the victory of good over evil and for the glory of light.
This festival is also celebrated to remember lord rama’s return to his kingdom ayodhya after completing his 14 years of exile. Deepavali is also a time for pooja and tradition.
