Ingredients to prepare Dry Fruits Kheer :
Almond | 20 Pieces |
Cashew | 20 Pieces |
Pista (pistachios) | 20 Pieces |
Khus khus, | 2 table spoon |
Milk | 2 Litre |
Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup |
Saffron | Very little ( soaked in warm milk) |
Dry Fruits Kheer preparation method :
Soak all the dry fruits and Khus khus seperately in water 5-6 hours or over night.
Peel off the almonds and pistachios.
Grind all dry fruits and Khus khus together to make a smooth paste.
In a bowl boil the milk until reduced to 3/4 of it.
Then add the dry fruit paste in the boiled milk and again boil until it blends well.
Reduce the flame and add sugar by stirring constantly until the sugar gets dissolved.
Dry Fruit Kheer is a Very very delicious and nutritious dessert. You can make this dry fruit kheer for your Vrat, festivals and special occasions.
Turn off the heat and finally add soaked saffron.
Dry Fruits Payasam is ready to serve. Cool it and serve chilled.
