Famous Tourist Places in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh is a south west coast region of India which has rich tradition, spectacular natural beauty, historical significance and pilgrimage center. All over India Andhra Pradesh is such a unite state where you will find people from all religions like Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and chritians leave together. The Andhra Pradesh state was consequently ruled by the Satvahanas, Sakas, Ikshvakas, Chalukyas, Kakatiyas and later the Qutub Shahis and the Nizams.

Vishakapatnam:

Hyderabad:
Hyderabad is famous for its historic forts and monuments, its culture, attractive lakes and parks. Hyderabad, is the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. It has a history of over 400 years old. Hyderbad city is the sixth largest city of India. This place is one of the important centre of Islamic culture whre Urdu is the major spoken language. There are many interesting tourist places in Hyderabad as Birla Mandir which is a wonderful temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, popularly known as Balaji.
A Charminar is a great architectural splendor with four Minarets, was built in 1591 AD. this palce is very famous for bangles. The Golconda fort was once the capital of the Qutub Shahi Kings. Tirupati:
Tirupati is a famous pilgrimage place all over the world. The divine city of Tirupati is located in the southeastern part of Andhra Pradesh State. The beautiful temple of Lord Venkateshwara, located in the Tirumalai Hills. People from all over the country and from abroad come here to pay homage to Lord Venkateshwara- an avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Tirupati pilgrimage tourism highlights the famous temples such as Sri Govindarajaswami Temple, Kodandaramaswami Temple where the deities Sita, Rama and Lakshmana are worshiped here. Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple located in the base of Tirumala hills dedicated to Lord Shiva in Tirupati and Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami Temple located at Srinivasa Mangapuram. It is said that Lord Venkateswara stayed here after his marriage with Sri Padmavati Devi, before proceeding to Tirumala. The place Chandragiri is famous for the Chandragiri Fort.
Warangal:
In northern part of Andhra Pradesh State the city of Warangal is located which has a number of fine temples in its vicinity. There are beautiful lakes, temples, wildlife, exquisite antiques and relics makes it a popular tourist destination.
The Warangal fort was the center of the city. This fort is 12-km away from Hanamakonda and it dates back to the 13th century. This fort was built by the Kakatiya king, Ganapati Deva and his daughter Rudramma Devi. The 1000 pillared temple on the slopes of Hunamkonda Hill, is a fine example of Chalukyan architecture.
The Bhadra Kali temple situated on a hilltop between Hanamkonda and Warangal is famous for its stone image of the Goddess Kali.
Srisailam:
Srisailam is a small town in Andhra Pradesh which has many exciting excursion destinations nearby. Srisailam is surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful locations. situated in the densely forested Nallamalai hills and on the banks of river Krishna. The Bhramaramba Mallikharjunaswamy temple is an ancient and holy temple of Srisailam.The Srisailam dam is built across the river Krishna and is situated in a deep gorge in the Nallamalai hill range.
