Goddess MahaGauri Matha
During Dussera Navrathri Festival, Goddess Durga is worshipped in her eighth form as MahaGauri on eighth day. Deity MahaGauri Matha has crescent moon on her forehead and a bell. MahaGauri Matha is worshipped as a eight years old child, dressed up in white saree. MahaGauri Matha has three eyes and four hands rides on a bull. The upper left hand is in fearless Mudra, lower left hand holds Trishul and upper right hand has tambourine and lower right hand boons with blessing. MahaGauri Matha is existence of calm and peaceful.
It is believed that MahaGauri Matha power is unfailing and instantly fruitful. By worshipping MahaGauri in this form all sins of devotees are washed away and in future no sins or sufferings come to him.
MahaGauri Matha stays in devotees heart and her idol can be seen in Haridwar, temple at Kankhal in India.
