Kharipudi Recipe
Plain flour – 1 cup
Rice flour – ½ cup
Oman Seeds – ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
Dry flour for dusting
Asafetida – a pinch
Oil for – deep fry
Kharipudi Preparation:
Mix the ingredients of plain flour and rice flour together by adding asafetida, Omam seeds, turmeric, oil and mix it properly and make the soft dough.
Now apply ghee and roll like a large chapatti and sprinkle some rice flour, again roll it into tight swiss roll and cut into thick slices and keep it aside.
Then take a pan add oil for deep frying and put the pudis in the oil and fry untill they become golden color. Take out from oil, drain on a tissue paper and Kharipudi are ready to serve.
