Mitha Khaja Recipe
Flour – 1cup
Jaggery – 1/2 cup
water – ½ cup
cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Oil for deep fry
Mitha Khaja Preparation:
In a deep bottom pan, add water and jaggery and heat until it dissolves in the water, then strain the syrup and let cool. Now add cardamom powder and ghee to the flour and knead the flour with jaggery syrup till the dough becomes stiff.
Take small portions of dough and small balls and keep them aside so as to make it bit dry. Now deep fry them in hot oil until golden brown, then take out and drain till the Mitha khajas becomes crisper.
Store mitha khaja’s in an airtight container.
