Pala Undrallu Recipe
Ingredients to prepare Pala Undrallu:
Rice flour | 2 cup sieved |
Water | 5 cups |
Sugar | 1 1/2 cup |
Fresh coconut | 1 cup |
Milk | 2 cup |
Sesame seeds, toast and coarsely grind | 1/2 cup |
Elaichi powder | 1 tea spoon |
Pala Undrallu preparation method:
Boil 4 cups of water to boil, pour the rice flour and stir for few seconds.Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes more and switch off the heat and leave it for another 2 minutes.
Let is come to warm, shape into 1″ diameter balls and keep aside.
Take sugar and the 1 cup water in a pan, add grated coconut, elaichi powder and stir well.
Now add milk and rice balls and stir for another 3-5 minutes, you will see the syrup gets thick. And add the ground sesame seeds and mix well and turn off the heat.
Now the paala Undrallu is ready to serve.
