Payesh Recipe
500 gms Rice
4 Litres milk
1 tsp Cardamom powder
1 tsp Nutmeg powder
500 gms jaggery
4 tbsp Chopped pistachios
4 tbsp Chopped almonds
12 Strands of kesar
Payesh Preparation:
Wash 500 gms of rice and drain water, let it for drying. Then boil the milk for about 20 minutes then add rice and cook till the rice and milk becomes thick. Now add kesar, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder jaggery and stir well until jaggery melts, then take out from flame.
Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios to the prepared payesh.
