Rawa kesari Recipe
Bombay Rawa – 2 cups
Sugar – 4 cup
Ghee – 2 cups
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp.
Water – 6 cups.
Cashew nuts – 2 tsp
Raisins – 2 tsp
Food color (optional) – a pinch
Rawa kesari Preparation:
In a frying pan, add 2 tsp of ghee and roast rawa till a nice aroma comes and put off the flame and keep aside. Then add water in a pan And boil for about 10 minutes, then add roasted rawa into water and stir constantly, so that the rawa does not form into lumps. And let boil for another 10 mins.
Now, add sugar to the rawa mixture and stir well and boil for 10 mins on low flame by pouring ghee in small quantities every now and then until the mixture becomes solid. When the mixture gets thickens, add chopped cashew nuts, raisins and cardamom powder and put off the flame.
Rawa kesari is ready to serve.
