Rules And Regulations To Follow In Hindu Temples
There are many rules and regulations we need to follow in India when you enter Hindu temples. Hindu worship is primarily an individual act rather than a communal one, as it involves making personal offerings to the deity. Worshipers repeat the names of their favorite gods and goddesses, and repeat mantras. Water, fruit, flowers and incense are offered to god.
Hindu practices include rituals such as puja (worship) and recitations, meditation, family-oriented rites of passage, annual festivals, and occasional pilgrimages. Some Hindus leave their social world and material possessions, then engage in lifelong Sannyasa (monastic practices) to achieve Moksha.
