Vinayaka Chavithi Prasadam Recipe
Ingredients to prepare Kudumulu :
Rice rava | 2 cups |
Water | 4 cups |
Channa dal | 4 table spoons |
Jeera | 1 tea spoon |
Salt | to taste |
Ghee | 1 tea spoon |
Kudumulu preparation method :
Wash and soak Chana dal in water for 15 to 20 minutes and drain off.
Heat ghee in a pan or a vessel, add dal and fry.
Add water and bring it to a boil, pour rice rava to the boiling water slowly by mixing well with another hand to prevent lumps.
Cook by continuous stirring till the water fully evaporates.
Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for just 2 minutes and then switch off the stove.
Leave it covered for about 15 minutes and then transfer into a wide plate and cool.
Grease your palms or dip your fingers in water and knead it well.
Moisten your palms and make balls with the dough and arrange them in a wide plate.
Boil water in a pressure cooker, steam the balls for 10 minutes on a high flame.
Now the Undrallu are ready for Naivedyam. Offer to God and serve.
